Millie Gooch
Millie is a UK-based author, speaker, journalist, and founder of the Sober Girl Society, a leading global community supporting women who choose to reduce or give up alcohol. After quitting alcohol in 2018 due to its impact on her mental health, she launched the movement on social media and has since grown a substantial following while advocating for sober curiosity and wellbeing. She is the author of The Sober Girl Society Handbook and the mindfulness journal Booze Less, has given a TEDx Talk on why alcohol should be part of the mental health conversation, and works with organisations and global brands to promote healthier relationships with alcohol. Millie holds a Master’s in Mental Health & Addiction, serves as an ambassador for Alcohol Change UK, and speaks widely on sobriety, mental health, and inclusive culture.
